Almost every comparison site hands out scores. Almost none says how they came about. That is not a detail — it is the difference between a measurement and an assertion.
Five questions to put to any review
- Is a source named? A register, a cashier page, a set of terms — or nothing.
- Is there a date? Statements without a date age invisibly.
- Is the arithmetic shown? A score built from sub-scores without weightings cannot be followed.
- Are drawbacks named? A list in which nothing comes off badly is a sales page.
- Are there times or percentages with nothing behind them? “Withdrawal in 10 minutes” without a measurement is invented.
How bought texts give themselves away
- Every operator scores well. A list in which nobody comes off badly is sorted by something other than quality.
- The same sentences across several brands. Interchangeable phrasing points to a text kit.
- Not a single number out of a document. No licence number, no wagering factor, no withdrawal limit.
- A test seal with no test report. A seal is a picture for as long as there is no report behind it.
And user reviews
They are useful for patterns, not for individual cases. Twenty complaints about the same clause are a signal; one very angry review is usually a lost session. They become useful where somebody describes which sentence in the terms caught them out.
What this site does instead
Hands out no scores, calls the order editorial, and keeps only one factual column in the table — the licence, with a date. The method.
